Chicken in chilly paste (sambal)

Ingredients
500 gm chicken cut into small pieces
Marinade in turmeric and salt
4 onions
4 fresh chillies - deseeded
1 capsicum
Salt
Blend these ingredients
1 piece of dried tamarind slice (asam keping)
Cooking oil
In hot cooking oil, fry the chicken until golden brown.
Set aside when cooked.
In the same oil, fry the blended ingredients with the tamarind slice until cooked and almost dry.
Turn off heat then add the chicken into the cooked paste.
Best served with hot rice.
