This is to show you how I make my chilly paste for cooking or freezing.
A bag of dried chillies - cut and remove seeds
Wash well and drain
In a pot of boiling water add salt . Put the washed dried chillies in and bring to boil.
When chillies soften, turn off heat and drain. Squeeze out excess water and put the chillies into a blender. Add some cooking oil. This will keep the colour of the chillies.
You can now use this chilly paste for cooking or freeze for future use.
